Timeline

1998

Company Foundation.
Products:
• Online vehicle tracking and monitoring systems (maritime and land fleets)
• Tele-supervision and remote control systems (antennas and telecommunication stations).

2005

Product: Fleet refueling systems for maritime ports in the South and Southeast of Brazil. Seed of the Paytech One Fleet system, already integrated into the newly created Fintech ecosystem.

2012

First International Expansion – Opening of the company in Chile.
Paytech wins a major bid to provide a service platform for one of Chile's leading oil companies.

2016

Entry into the Colombian Market in partnership with Banco de Bogotá.
Entry/Contribution from a Brazilian investment fund.
Launch of the Product/Benefit Platform.
Launch of the new "Corporate Governance" Paytech One.

2017

PCI-DSS Certification.
New International Expansion: Entry into the Peruvian market.
Start of a major project as Program Manager: Launch of the first Account Issuing Entity with provision of funds (non-seizable) in Chile. (This success serves as the foundation, to this day, for the terms of the law governing and regulating this sector).

2018-20

Greater Professionalism: IFRS-compliant financial statements audited by a Big 4 firm.
Consolidation as a key player in Chile's payment ecosystem, becoming one of the first 10 members of the FinteChile association and the first non-banking institution to connect to the country’s Bank Clearing House.

2020-22

Growth in the Peruvian market with the acquisition of one of the largest retail groups in Latin America as a client.
Incorporation of the Risk Management area, with a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) responsible for the implementation of:
• Comprehensive Risk and Compliance Management Model
• Board with Risk Appetite and Policy Approval
• Risk Committee – Bi-monthly Sessions
• Information Security / Cybersecurity Management System
• Business Continuity Management System
• Incident Management System

2022-24

Security Upgrade: PCI-DSS 4.0 milestone achieved one year ahead of schedule).
Participation in Consultative Committees of the CMF (Chile) for the Fintech Law.
Implementation of a Third-Party Risk Management System.
Implementation of a Crime Prevention Model.
New International Expansion: Entry into the United States and Ecuador.
